All apologies to Dwyane Wade of course, but my two favorites are Greco-Roman wrestler Thomas "T.C." Dantzler and Star class sailor John Dane III.
Why, you ask, have I chosen two athletes in rather obscure hard-to-find-even-on-the-32,000-hours-on-NBC-coverage sports? Simple. Both men sat down for Inc. interviews.
Besides being world-class competitors both Dantzler and Dane own thriving businesses. The former runs a security company, TclogiQ, and the latter owns Trinity Yachts, which makes boats for billionaires.
It's good to know America still has some of that can-do spirit.
Enjoy the Olympics. Keep and eye for Dantlzer and Dane.
I predict gold. Or silver. Maybe bronze. No matter the outcome, they'll both give it their best.
